Wrestling Connection

Although Ashley never competed as a wrestler herself, wrestling has become one of the defining parts of her family's life and community involvement.

Alongside her husband, Geoff, who has coached wrestling for more than 20 years, Ashley co-directs the Burrillville Lightning Wrestling Club. What began as a startup club with just 16 wrestlers has grown into a thriving program of more than 40 athletes in only three seasons. Watching the club grow while helping young wrestlers develop both on and off the mat has been one of the most rewarding experiences of her life.

Ashley also serves as Treasurer of the Rhode Island Wrestling Association (RIWA), where she helps support and strengthen youth wrestling across the state. Through coaching, volunteering, and leadership, her family has dedicated countless hours to giving back to the sport that has given so much to their children and community.

For Ashley, wrestling represents far more than competition. It teaches resilience, accountability, discipline, humility, and the importance of showing up for others - values that have shaped both her family and the way she serves her clients.
