Michael Jakubik has been helping buyers, sellers, and investors navigate the New Jersey real estate market since 2016. As a REALTOR® with eXp Realty and leader of a growing team of six agents, he has built his business on communication, professionalism, and treating every client like family.

Wrestling Connection

Michael's passion for wrestling began at South Plainfield High School, where he was a four-year varsity starter from 2003 through 2007. During his career, South Plainfield captured New Jersey Team State Championships during his sophomore, junior, and senior seasons. Individually, Michael qualified for the New Jersey State Championships twice before suffering a torn ACL during his senior year.

After high school, Michael continued his athletic career by playing football at Mercyhurst University before transferring to Kean University to complete his education. Following another ACL injury, he shifted his focus toward teaching and coaching.

Michael spent ten seasons coaching both football and wrestling at South Plainfield High School, giving back to the same program that helped shape him. His years as an athlete and coach taught him the importance of discipline, perseverance, preparation, and leadership—qualities that continue to guide both his life and his real estate business.
